MOODMAN

MOODMAN began DJing in the late 1980s. He has been a resident at numerous important parties, including GODFATHER with Tohru Takahashi and Naohiro Ukawa, as well as HOUSE OF LIQUID and slowmotion.

He has also appeared at many independent festivals in Japan, including TAICOCLUB, Freedommune and Raw Life. At the launch of DOMMUNE, he performed for its very first broadcast, and has continued to host irregular programs such as MOODOMMUNE and Ohayo Moodmune.

With free-form selections that cross genres and eras, and an unmistakable groove, MOODMAN has helped drive Japan’s underground music scene for more than 30 years. Known also as a deeply knowledgeable vinyl digger, his sets are trusted by DJs and music lovers in Japan and abroad.
