DJ Yogurt (Upset Rec)

After being profoundly impacted by an outdoor party in Goa, DJ Yogurt’s life took a new direction. He went on to dance in places such as Phangan, London and Amsterdam before returning to Japan, where he began DJing and producing music while working at record shops.

He spent 15 years working in record stores in Tokyo, building deep knowledge and experience. Since then, he has performed almost every weekend at clubs, outdoor parties and festivals across Japan, while releasing numerous records and CDs, many of which have sold out.

During the three years of the pandemic, he uploaded ten DJ mix videos to YouTube, receiving strong feedback. In 2024 he released six new tracks on Bandcamp, and in 2025 he continues to devote his energy to DJing, preparation and music production.
