DJ SODEYAMA

DJ SODEYAMA is one of Japan’s leading DJs and producers, active since the 1990s. Known for a deep, hypnotic sound grounded in a refined musical sensibility, he has long been a driving force in Japan’s underground techno scene and has earned strong recognition both domestically and internationally.

He runs his own label ARPA RECORDS and has presented label showcases at WOMB, appeared at Japan’s major indoor rave WIRE, and toured across Europe, North America and Asia. His productions have been supported by international artists including Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Dubfire and Josh Wink.

He is also active under the alias The People In Fog, exploring techno, house and ambient forms. With flexible musicality that refuses to be limited by genre or format, and a unique groove born from deep communication with the dance floor, DJ SODEYAMA continues to captivate audiences.
